TIRANA, April 24 /ATA/ Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha contributed to the panel ‘From Responsibility to Benefit,’ examining how to accelerate Western Balkans integration into a European geopolitical victory.
Addressing the Delphi Economic Forum, the minister highlighted that Albania offers invaluable, yet underappreciated, strategic assets to the European Union.
“First of all, our foreign policy is reliable, consistently demonstrated by walking the talk and aligning fully with the EU’s CFSP. Secondly, Albania’s commitment to European integration is absolute—a non-negotiable strategic choice and the cornerstone of our national vision. Thirdly, a proactive investment in shared stability and deeper mutual understanding”, said Hoxha.
According to him, “Albania is spearheading regional cohesion in the Western Balkans, actively reshaping its image from one of fragmentation to an integral, stable pillar of Southeast Europe”.
Hoxha emphasized that Albania takes pride in pioneering this process through strategic vision and exemplary action.
“As the EU seeks to assert itself as a stronger geopolitical actor in an unpredictable world, consistency and credibility are not mere technicalities—they are vital strategic assets”, he said. /m.q/j.p/p.s./
