TIRANA, September 2 /ATA/ In the domestic foreign exchange market Wednesday, the US dollar gained slight ground against the lek compared to yesterday, while the euro extended its decline.
According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, the US dollar edged up by 0.02 lek to 79.63 lek, while the euro slipped 0.13 lek to 92.16 lek. Meanwhile, the British pound dropped 0.33 lek from Tuesday to 107.48 lek and the Swiss franc fell 0.58 lek to 97.74 lek.
