TIRANA, July 6 /ATA/ The Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH) has announced that a controlled explosion will be carried out today as part of the construction works for the Saranda bypass.

According to the statement, the works will take place near the village of Shën Vasil, close to the Volloder quarries, between 09:00 and 10:00.

The detonation will be carried out using small amounts of explosives and is intended to open the road alignment.

ARRSH clarified that the process has been coordinated with the State Police, which will take the necessary measures to manage traffic and ensure circulation safety during the works.

Authorities are urging drivers traveling along this road section to exercise caution, respect the temporary signage, and follow the instructions of police officers, as there may be short‑term traffic restrictions during the works.
