TIRANA, June 15 /ATA/ The “Vaçe Zela” Palace of Culture in Lushnjë has undergone a comprehensive restoration, transforming it into a modern cultural venue that offers improved facilities and more dignified conditions for artists and cultural activities.
Prime Minister Edi Rama on Monday shared images on social media featuring the building, which has now been fully restored.
Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that this cultural institution in Lushnjë, named after the iconic Albanian singer Vaçe Zela, has been revitalized and now offers dignified, modern facilities.
Built in 1974, the center has long served as a venue for theater, cinema, and cultural and social activities. Its transformation project, based on a contemporary concept for a multifunctional arts center, has delivered a modern theater and cinema hall, a movable stage, a puppet theater, exhibition areas, and art education programs for youth, establishing a versatile space for theatrical, musical, and artistic events.
The restoration of the Palace of Culture aims to enhance the city’s cultural infrastructure by creating more suitable spaces for the development of artistic and community activities.
