TIRANA, June 14 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama took to social media today to present what he framed as undeniable facts. He dismissed his critics’ claims as baseless, asserting the planned investments in Sazan and Zvërnec represent a major milestone for Albania.
Sazan Island is, and always will be, Albanian state property; it is not for sale. Instead of selling the land, the government plans to participate in a joint investment to develop it into a luxury destination, allowing the state to retain ownership and collect a share of the returns.
Regarding the Zvërnec project, the prime minister stated that the initiative officially materialized in 2024 when developers submitted a master plan to the National Council of Territory (KKT), which was subsequently presented on the Opinion TV show by one of the project’s architects.
