TIRANA, March 13 /ATA/ – Special Anticorruption and Organized Crime Prosecution Structure (SPAK) and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Albania on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding for 2026 aimed at promoting the rule of law in the country.

According to a UNOPS statement, the agreement was signed by SPAK chief prosecutor Klodian Braho and UNOPS Albania Director Sabine Kania under the framework of the EU4Digital Justice initiative.

UNOPS said the memorandum will facilitate cooperation to enhance transparency, accountability, and the rule of law in Albania.

“EU4Digital Justice is a European Union-funded project implemented by UNOPS that supports Albania’s EU accession process by strengthening the rule of law and building public trust in the justice system through digital transformation,” UNOPS said.
