TIRANA, March 13 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated on Friday that next week the Parliament of Albania will be invited to vote on a resolution to designate the Islamic Republic of Iran as a state sponsor of terrorism.
At a press conference in the Prime Minister’s office, Rama emphasized that, along with Iran, the resolution will also designate the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Hezbollah as terrorist organizations.
Prime Minister Rama stated that, ‘This is the truth. While we are not the first to take these steps, as other partners and allies have done so previously, it is now time for Albania to take action as well.’
