TIRANA, February 2/ATA/ The winning students of the financial support for the academic year 2025–2026 have begun the signing of the relevant contracts, formalizing the benefit of the scholarship and the exemption from the annual tuition fee.
Minister of Education Mirela Kumbaro stated today that there are 131 excellent students and 53 students of priority programs, the beneficiaries of this agreement.
They will be contacted by the National Agency for Financing Higher Education to complete the process.
“The Ministry of Education supports the students and priority study programs invested in academic excellence, equal opportunities and the quality of higher education in Albania”, said Kumbaro.
The application process by students was carried out through the unique government portal e-Albania, in the electronic service “Application for Financial Support”, as well as through the physical submission of documentation by students, for the period October 22-December 20, 2025.
After completing the relevant verifications, the beneficiary students were approved in accordance with the legal criteria.
The beneficiaries are excellent students who have completed the secondary education with an average grade of 10.00.
Also beneficiaries are students who have won international Olympiads as well as students who follow priority study programs, determined as national priorities according to the government decision.
The financial support for the beneficiary students includes: a scholarship in the amount of one minimum monthly salary; exemption from paying the annual tuition fee, according to the provisions of the government in force. /k.s/j.p/p.s./
