TIRANA, January 6 /ATA/ The Municipality of Durrës has set up working groups of specialists to verify the damage caused to homes by the heavy rainfall.
Mayor of Durrës Emiriana Sako emphasized that, “The 15 groups set up go to every home where water has penetrated to assess the damage as soon as possible”.
Sako stated that all affected citizens will receive the appropriate compensation.
The city of Durrës was hit by heavy rainfall today at noon, causing flooding in several homes and various areas. Currently, 23 members and 8 vehicles of the Civil Emergency Support Base are engaged in Durrës, with 7 motor pumps in operation, of which 4 with high capacity for removing water and managing the situation. /k.s/j.p/p.s./
