Lapaj returns to protest in front of government building

TIRANA, January 5 /ATA/ The leader of the “Albania Becomes” Movement Adriatik Lapaj returned to protest in front of the government building, after leaving the Trauma Hospital, where he received the necessary medical assistance and treatment after an incident with a gas heater.

Lapaj called on citizens to unite and protest against Prime Minister Edi Rama until the government is overthrown.

Lapaj warned that he will continue the protest in front of the government building even if the police will proceed against him.

Police officers intervened yesterday evening to remove the tents set up in front of the government building by the leader of “Albania Becomes” Movement Adriatik Lapaj and his supporters.

They clashed with police officers, opposing this decision.

During this action, it is suspected that Lapaj was injured in the head by one of the gas cylinders and was taken to the hospital to receive medical care.

“Albania Becomes” has been protesting non-stop since December 8th in front of the government building. /m.m/j.p/p.s./
