Tirana Protests: 127 businesses report €2.15 million in damage

TIRANA, Oct 22 /ATA/ Damage to businesses affected by recent protests in Tirana is estimated at €2.15 million, with 127 businesses reported damaged so far.

According to the General Directorate of Taxes, some affected businesses were identified during on-site inspections, while others reported the damage themselves via the “My Damage” online platform.

Specifically, 55 businesses were identified by tax administration inspection teams, while 72 reported their losses through the dedicated service on the “e-Albania” portal.

The Tax Administration continues to collect and verify information through 10 teams working in the field, aiming to establish as accurate a picture as possible of the material damage sustained by businesses.

In this context, businesses that have sustained damage are urged to report their cases through the “My Damage” service to help ensure that the full impact of the protests on economic activity is documented.
