TIRANA, Nov 20 /ATA/ A new public parking facility powered by solar energy generated on-site has been inaugurated in Durrës.
Prime Minister Edi Rama referred to the building as another attractive public project for the coastal city.
Rama noted that the new public parking facility offers about 400 parking spots and integrates multiple functions, including parking areas, office spaces, and venues for open social and cultural activities.
The public parking structure near the Train Station is six stories high. The project spans approximately 15,000 square meters and accommodates around 400 vehicles, along with designated space on the top level for hosting various events.
Situated between the train station, the city port, the intercity bus terminal, the city center, and the exit toward the national roads, the new parking center holds significant potential for the city, contributing to the development not only of the surrounding area but beyond it as well.
