TIRANA, Dec 5 /ATA/ The rise in production costs slowed down during the third quarter of this year.
The Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) released the Producer Price Index for the third quarter of the year, revealing a 1.1% increase. In the same period last year, the change was 5.2%.
Compared to the second quarter of 2024, the Producer Price Index decreased by 0.1%.
Compared to the third quarter of 2023, the highest price increase of 3.1% was observed in the extractive industry and the electricity sector.
In contrast, the largest price reduction was recorded in the production of non-metallic mineral products, with a 2.4% decrease, followed by a 1.2% decline in textile processing. /j.p/sm/
