TIRANA, December 21/ATA/ After the plenary session of the Assembly that approved authorization for SPAK for his arrest, Head of the Democratic Party Re-foundation Committee Sali Berisha said that, “The narcotic parliament took an unconstitutional, anti-democratic act and voted against any constitutional and legal procedure for lifting of the immunity and my arrest”.
According to him, “In one way or another, the Parliament today continued the efforts that failed on September 9, two years ago”.
“But, this decision cannot achieve the goals, i.e. the destruction of the opposition. On the contrary, this decision will mobilize the opposition under the motto: today or never; the opposition will give the most deserved answer to this regime”, said Berisha.
“The battle goes on and I say that this opposition will remain undefeated in the defense of its democratic ideals”, he said./p.s./
