TIRANA, December 3/ATA/- On the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Minister of Health and Social Protection Albana Koçiu highlighted the support for this strata of people in our country.
Koçiu wrote in a post in the social media that the government’s disability program supports every year about 165,000 people with disability.
“Drafting policies to improve the quality of service to this category, as well as their integration with equal rights in the labor market, is a priority of the government and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection”, underlined Minister Koçiu.
Even the 2024 budget for the ministry provides for the support of persons with disabilities and their caregivers who will benefit payments from the fund of 17.9 billion ALL. /p.s./
