More and more wildlife sheltered at “Bredhi i Hotova – Dangëlli” National Park

TIRANA, June 21/ATA/ There is an ever-increasing number of wild animals sheltered in “Bredhi i Hotova – Dangëlli” National Park consisting of a variety of habitats.

The trap cameras installed by Gjirokastra Protected Areas Administration show the diversity of wildlife that populates this area.

The monitoring of wildlife through trap cameras is an important process to document throughout the year the life of these animals.

The extension of the moratorium until 2025 aims to improve the condition of wild fauna species.

The animal world is rich in the national park “Bredhi i Hotova – Dangëlli”. Among the mammals, there are brown bears, wolves, foxes, weasels, wild boars, wild rabbits, squirrels, etc. But the pride of this park and its typical representative is the roe deer, which you can see in the meadows and lawns deep in the forest.

Hotova fir is the most protected forest massif in Albania, resisting so far any damage or deforestation by man. /k.s/p.s./
