TIRANA, May 14 /ATA/ State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi announced that the voting process throughout the country is being carried out normally and that the problem of electronic identification has been overcome.
Celibashi raised the concern over the presence of unauthorized persons inside the voting centers.
“The presence of unauthorized persons near the voting centers is unacceptable and is considered an action of intimidation and pressure on voters. They must leave immediately They should leave immediately”, he said.
Celibashi called on the law enforcement bodies to take measures to remove these people.
“It’s time to call on the law enforcement authorities, starting with the State Police, to address this concern and take measures to remove these people. It is unacceptable for citizens who are not related to the voting center and who continue to stay in the voting premises. Anyone who refuses to respond to this order will be held responsible”, Celibashi said.
Celibashi informed that the voter turnout until 13:00 is 23.20% in 2639 voting centers out of 5213 in total. //a.i/
