PRISTINA, May 9 /ATA/ – British Ambassador to Kosovo Nicholas Abbott stated Tuesday that it is time for Kosovo to formally propose a draft statute for an Association of Municipalities with a Serb majority, building on the vision set out by Prime Minister Albin Kurti last week.
According to him, the draft statute should be in line with the criteria set out by the European Union.
“So now is the time for Kosovo to propose formally a draft statue for an ASMM, building on the vision set out by the Prime Minister last week, in line with the criteria set out by the EU,” British Ambassador said via Twitter.
Abbott also underlined that Kosovo’s allies want to see progress in the normalisation of relations with Serbia.
