Ibrahimaj: We are committed to working for our country

TIRANA, March 2 /ATA/ The Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj, speaking in Parliament during the debate on the McGonigal case, denied the opposition’s accusations, stressing that the government is working hard to ensure a better future for Albanians and a better future for the children.

She dismissed the accusations of the opposition, which says that this country has no future and is no longer livable.
“ “We are committed to working for the country and our children and we don’t want to waste any more time,” said Ibrahimaj.

“We still have a long way to go. But we cannot hide our achievements and we are proud to say that the government is laser focused on the support for citizens and the development of the country,” the minister.
She pointed out that over 1 million citizens were financially supported during the crisis and no citizen or small business was affected by the increase in the price of electricity thanks to the government’s initiatives.

Also, she said, the government approved the increase of the minimum wage, which is many times higher than the wage the opposition left when it was in government.

“I appeal you to quit the gibberish and fabrications,» she said.
