KESH sells 11.200 MWh of energy

TIRANA, Dec 9 /ATA/ The Albanian Power Corporation informed that it has managed to sell 11,200 MWh of electricity for the period 10-13 December.

KESH managed to sell 11,200 MWh at a weighted price of 254.76 euros/MWh.
KESH in the offer announced the day before planned to sell 18,400 MWh divided into two lots, but sold only 11,200 MWh.

At the same time, KESH has asked to deposit 18 thousand MWh to be returned during the period June 1-30, 2023.
The rainfall throughout the month of November improved the water situation in the Drin cascade, making it possible not only to meet the energy needs in the country, but also to sell it or store it.

Due to improved water situation, the government decided not to apply in December the 800 kWh threshold, according to which household consumers would be charged 42 lek per each kWh consumed.
