TIRANA, Sept 12 /ATA/ Minister of Interior, Bledi Çuçi, reacted again on Monday to the news broadcast by “Top Channel” television, which claims that the TIMS system has been turned off.
Çuçi published live footage of the Rinas airport showing that the electronic gate system (e-gate) is working.
“Live from Rinas. This is the electronic gate system (e-gate). E-gate cannot work without TIMS and TIMS is 100% working since announcement. All the rest is deliberate disinformation or out of laziness, equally harmful to the public,” Çuçi emphasized in a post on social media.
Earlier, Minister Çuçi asked the question on social media, saying: How come the electronic gates, which are in the background of the journalist, could work if TIMS was turned off.
Prime Minister Edi Rama also reacted to the news broadcast by “Top Channel” television.
Rama said that this is not a “party for criminals” but a party for screens and portals that do not care for the public that sees and reads them. /j.p/sm/
