TIRANA, July 8 /ATA/ – By I.Vata/ DP MP Jorida Tabaku reacted on Friday after the Democratic Party’s protest in Tirana.
In a posting on her social media account, Tabaku appreciates the participation of citizens in the protest but, according to her, what was said and heard was no more than what has been said and heard since 2013.
“You will go to the protest, won’t you! This was the question I was asked yesterday as if this protest was staged to show who aligned with the party and who with the enemy? “Actually, that’s what it is for!”, my friends said. As for me, who was never absent from any protest, not even when I was pregnant and gas was thrown at us unsparingly, I had no problem! You have to join the democrats’ protests. For others, there is time after the protest. I want to share with the Democrats my feelings from the protest. The participation was good, given that we are not in the most suitable season for protests of this nature, which cannot go beyond a party demonstration. You couldn’t ask for more in terms of the numbers, while from what was said and heard, there was nothing more than what has been said and heard since 2013. I would even say less, but I’m not saying it in order not to create any wrong idea that I am comparing different protagonists,” she said.
Tabaku emphasized that in order for Rama not to grab the fourth term, Albania needs a new hope.
The protests did not meet this need until yesterday, nor will they ever be able to meet it. Because it is not enough to gather people to protest. We need to make up our minds whether to change or not,” she said. /j.p/sm/
