TIRANA, May 31/ATA/ The instructors of the Albanian Ground Forces trained for about 2 weeks the Kosovo Security Forces in ground artillery and engineering specialties.
Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi posted today in the social media a video from the training emphasizing that, “Our troops were also in Biza where they carried out joint firing with mortars of caliber 60mm, 81mm, 120mm and carried out practical exercises for the use of explosives”.
Lieutenant Edin Oruqi, of the 2nd Regiment of the Kosovo Security Forces, said in the video that, “For two weeks, we have been conducting training at the training center with the Ground Forces of the Republic of Albania. Training is focused on engineering and field artillery. I hope that in the future there will be even more trainings in context of the increased cooperation between the two countries so that to improve professionalism in our 2 armies “. /j.p/p.s./
