TIRANA Dec 6 /ATA/ – By I.Vata/ Cyber security is an area that requires skilled manpower.
Therefore, Minister of Defence, Niko Peleshi, as the head of the institution that will soon take on the responsibility to guarantee cyber protection greeted the participants at the innovative activity entitled “Cyber Camp Albania”, calling on young people to build their careers in this field.
Minister Peleshi drew attention to the serious risk that cyber attacks pose to the state and non-state institutions not only in Albania, but also in the US, where there are cyber attacks every 39 seconds.

Peleshi said that, “The Ministry of Defense will work together with the National Authority for Electronic Certification and Cyber Security to design cyber security policies, standards, rules applicable by all those institutions which are part of the critical infrastructure that must have cyber defense capabilities ”. He said that everything starts from education and today there are 16 students who start their master degree in cyber security at the Academy of the Armed Forces, while work is underway to increase the possibilities of qualifications and trainings in this field. ”
