TIRANA, Dec 6 /ATA/ The spokesman for the institution of President of the Republic, Tedi Blushi, announced that the notification of the Constitutional Court on local elections 2019 verdict has arrived at the President’s office today, while the next day the Institution of President of the Republic will have an official position
“The notification of the Constitutional Court for its decision-making on the issue of the 2019 local elections has arrived in the protocol of the Institution of President of the Republic today”, Blushi emphasized.
“In respect of transparency and high importance of this issue for all citizens, tomorrow the Institution of President of the Republic will have an official position, which will be made public for local and international opinion alike,” said Blushi .
The Constitutional Court dismissed the request of the Association of Albanian Municipalities to declare June 30, 2019 local elections in violation of the Constitution.
