TIRANA, Nov 19 /ATA/ Revenues in profit tax collections amounted to ALL 27.3 billion.
According to statistics published by the Ministry of Finance and Economy, profit tax collections amounted to ALL 5.1 billion, or 22.9% more than the 10-month 2020, and ALL 123 million or 0.5% more than the 2021 plan for profit tax.
Based on the analysis of profit tax by sectors, it results that the service sector marked an increase of 24%, compared to the 10-month period of 2020, the construction sector increased by 47%, compared to the same period of the previous year and the trade sector recorded an increase of 23%, compared to last year.
The construction sector is developing rapidly after the pandemic. The highest volumes of works are concentrated in the capital, according to official INSTAT data for the first 6 months.
In January-June 2021, 598 new construction permits were issued nationwide, with an increase of 2% compared to the same period of 2020 and 43% compared to the first six months of 2019.
The new construction site also marked expansion. INSTAT reported that in the first 6 months of 2021, the new development area reached 1.1 million square meters, with an increase of 74% compared to the same period of 2020 and 15% compared to year 2019. / jp /sm/
