TIRANA, Oct 25 /ATA/ Minister of State for Entrepreneurship and Standards, Milva Ekonomi, received on Monday the Ambassador of the European Union in Tirana, Luigi Soreca, with whom she discussed the findings of the 2021 EC Progress Report for Albania.
“We also discussed the ongoing work to achieve a unified implementation of standards for public services throughout the country,” said Ekonomi.
The Minister noted that maintaining a focus on European standards and approximation with EU legislation remain a milestone on the pathway to European integration.
“In particular, the digitalization of public services and proper monitoring of standards, quality and duration of their delivery are essential in boosting the competitiveness of our country as we move ahead on this path,” Ekonomi said.
