PM Rama renews call for dialogue with protesters for fifth consecutive day

TIRANA, Oct 24 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama on Saturday renewed his call for dialogue with students and other protesters for the fifth consecutive day.

Rama placed a concrete table modelled on a traditional sofra, a low communal dining table, outside the prime minister’s office. The word “dialogue” was inscribed on the table, with cushion-like seats arranged around it as an invitation for protesters to join talks.

Rama has called for dialogue each day over the past five days. Earlier, protesters removed and broke chairs he had placed outside the government building, signalling their rejection of talks with the government head.
