TIRANA, Oct.5 /ATA/ The General Director of Customs, Genti Gazheli held a meeting with representatives of customs agencies, where they discussed the cooperation but also the problems encountered during their work.
The Head of Customs, Gazheli acquainted the participants with the new approach towards the enterprise in the light of digitalization of services and facilitation of procedures, which, according to him, will significantly reduce the level of corruption and abuse by both parties.
In his remarks, Gazheli emphasized that, customs agents are already seen as an integral and very important part in the activity of the Albanian Customs Administration, as they are the first to confront with the business, the customs procedures and services.
Also, Gazheli called on agents to show correctness and high responsibility in complying with Customs Code.//a.i/
