TIRANA, September 10 /ATA/ For the first time, the Regional Memorial Hospital in Fier offers a diagnosis of the peripheral muscular nervous system for all patients of the Southern areas.
Only during this period, Prof.Dr. Omer Karadas performed more than 100 electromyoneurographies, EMNG, in close cooperation with his staff.
It is a diagnostic procedure that evaluates the health of the muscles and the nerve cells that control them, known as motor neurons. They transmit electrical signals that make the muscles of the human body contract and relax.
An EMNG renders these signals into graphs or numbers to help doctors make the diagnosis.
Prof. Dr. Omer Karadas at Memorial Hospital, stated that EMNG is performed when you have symptoms of skin tingling sensation, numbness, muscle weakness, muscle pain or cramping, paralysis or involuntary muscle contraction.
Examination results come out within 24 hours.
The “Memorial” is the only hospital in the south pole of the country that performs this examination using not only the latest technology, but above all the consultation with the well-known professor of neurology in Turkey./m.m/j.p/p.s./
