TIRANA, August 24 /ATA/ The brick walls in some streets of the capital Tirana are being replaced with murals, which are making the city more beautiful.
Mural Fest, is one of the most beautiful festivals that is taking place now in Albania, giving the capital life and color.
The murals were curated by Helidon Haliti and the decor of Tirana, the group of foreign painters who came to Tirana especially for the murals. The painters of the “Street Art” are among the most talented, starting from Case from Germany, Manomatic from Spain, Same 84 from Greece, WD from Indonesia, Mattia Campo from Italy or Wuper from Serbia.
“The curators have seen the development of this city like development of a beautiful woman, who begins her journey with dreams since her early youth.”Tirana remains a goddess to be admired, with eyes from the West, to say that our future is related to western development”, said Haliti.
Mural Fest will be held this year from August 24 to the end of September. The project takes place in 10 walls, in the Paris Commune quarter, in Lana River area, the center of Tirana.
This project is an initiative of “Dekor” from the Municipality of Tirana./k.s/j.p/p.s./
