TIRANA, Aug 23 /ATA/ The decline in non-performing loans to 7.1% has led the second-level banks to reduce the provision fund (loan loss provisioning).
The Bank of Albania announces that the total value of the provisions fund recorded ALL 30.5 billion in the first half of this year.
Compared to a year ago, the provision fund has decreased by 4% and 9% since the beginning of the year.
The value of loan loss provisions has hit the lowest level on record since the last quarter of 2019, also the second lowest level from 2010 until today. /j.p/sm
