“I Veggenti”, exhibition of contemporary art in Tirana

TIRANA, July 22/ATA/ “Harabel”, the Contemporary Art Platform in cooperation with Italian Embassy in Tirana organized yesterday opening of the “I Veggenti” (fortune-tellers) exhibition.

The works presented in this exhibition were by artists Andrea Anastasio and Patrick Tuttofuoco and curated by Davide Quadrio and Ajola Xoxa.

The exhibition “I VEGGENTI” was very much welcomed by Ambassador of Italy in Albania Fabrizio Bucci who emphasized that it marks a new chapter in the cultural relationship between Italy and Albania.

In his speech, the ambassador said that, “This project establishes a new cooperation in contemporary art between our two countries.”

While the curator and at the same time the founder of the “Harabel” Ariola Xoxa said that the “Harabel” considers “I VEGGENTI” not only as an opportunity to present to the Albanian public the provocative and ironic artistic thought, brought by artists Patrick Tuttofuoco and Andrea Anastasio through an exhibition set up in an old villa, which served as the home of the communist nomenclature before 1991, but also a fresh and tempting intervention in the city, which will leave its echo through two installations of public art and which will be exposed forever ”./p.s./
