TIRANA, May 29 /ATA/ – A delicate highly-complex laparoscopic procedure has been performed recently by a team of talented surgeons at Trauma University Hospital in Tirana.
The Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu on Saturday shared images showing the delicate surgery procedure, underlining that the team of talented surgeons at Trauma University Hospital are increasingly performing rare surgical procedures by resorting to advanced methods.
“A delicate and extremely complex laparoscopic procedure has been successfully performed by the team of surgeons at Trauma University Hospital in Tirana, where major surgical procedures are being increasingly performed through contemporary advanced methods,” Health Minister said.
Doctor Dritan Çela, the Head of the Surgical Ward at the University Trauma Hospital said that fast post-operative recovery and rehabilitation are the main advantages of laparoscopic surgery for patients.
According to Çela, such a delicate surgical procedure has been successfully performed for first time at the Trauma Hospital.
