Rama renews call for dialogue with protesters

TIRANA, Oct 25  /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama on Sunday renewed his invitation to students and protesters to engage in dialogue, for the sixth consecutive day.

Rama invited the protesters to talks at an improvised meeting area outside the Prime Minister’s Office, where a concrete table shaped like a traditional sofra (round dining table) had been installed, along with several concrete chairs and seats.

The invitation to engage in dialogue has been repeatedly extended to the protesters, whom the Prime Minister has urged to join him at the negotiating table.

The protesters, however, have rejected all calls for dialogue, having earlier smashed the chairs placed outside the Prime Minister’s Office.
