TIRANA, April 30 /ATA/ Saranda, washed by the Ionian Sea and considered as one of the most beautiful places on the Albanian Riviera, thanks to the new “Naim Frashëri” promenade which is expected to finish building by May 15 has a new look.

Prime Minister Edi Rama posted today some photos from the city of Saranda in the evening, where the warm temperatures have made citizens enjoy walks by the Ionian coast.

“Naim Frashëri” promenade is a multifunctional public space and at the service of residents and holiday-makers during the tourist season.

The promenade is dominated by elements that preserve the identity of the city, such as the entrance gate of Onhezm, sculptures made by local artists, the fountain square, existing trees and green areas, outdoor pool, etc.

Apart from the sun and the beach, Saranda is also known for its history and culture: the castle of Lëkurës is magical, while the Butrint Archaeological Park adds to the curiosity of tourists with its millennial history./k.s/j.p/p.s./
