TIRANA, Dec 1 /ATA/ –By I. Vata/- The U.S. government continues to work in support of earthquake response efforts in Albania.
The U.S. Embassy in Tirana said on Sunday that a team of USAID – US Agency for International Development – the EU Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid – ECHO disaster experts visited communities hit hard by the Albania earthquake to assess damage and discuss humanitarian needs with local authorities a day ago.
“The U.S. government continues to work in support of earthquake response efforts,” the Embassy said.
