This is a normal day in one of tourist resorts where quake-affected families have been housed in the coastal city of Durres, hardest-hit by a deadly earthquake on Nov 26.

In an extraordinary wave of solidarity, assistance and continued support, the state structures are assisting and standing close to the quake-affected families to overcome these difficult moments.

More than 350 persons are accommodated at FAFA resort in Golem, where social workers, nurses, doctors and emergency service personnel are assisting them and doing their best to provide optimum conditions.

Children seem to be the ones to overcome the post-quake situation easier. A series of games, fund activities are being held with the help of psychologists.

The World Vision representative in Albania told ATA that the relief and development organization has been providing and delivering aid to the affected families shortly after the quake struck the country.

“Kids love to play and various games and entertainment activities will help them to return to normality of the everyday life,” she said.

Children are constantly playing and say they now feel very good with each other.

“I managed to get out of my house as if I was the Spiderman,” a child said, recounting the moments he had experienced after the quake.
