TIRANA, October 25 /ATA/- The Bank of Albania reported that the interest rate of the treasury bills fell in the last routine auction.
Treasury bills of one-year maturity were sold at Tuesday’s auction with an average yield of 1.96%, as compared with 2.18% it had been at the previous auction.
At this week’s auction, bids were valued at ALL 12.1 billion, compared to ALL 8.2 billion announced for financing.
Since October 2019, treasury bill interest rate has fallen below the 2% threshold./e.xh/ /a.g/p.s./
