TIRANA, June 3 /ATA/- The works at Fier bypass have continued at a rapid pace in order to meet the set deadline for opening this main artery of the country.
Speaking in concrete terms, the concrete casting on all the bridges has been completed while 15 km of road has already been asphalted.
According to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, this summer the travelers can go to Vlora resort through Fier bypass, which is forecast to be ready and open in one lane.
For the time being, it takes at least 40 minutes to travel through the old road.
During the summer season, the holiday-makers frequenting the southern beaches spend several hours on the traffic and suffer hundreds of accidents.
