TIRANA, May 30 /ATA/ – The US embassy in Tirana has welcomed the positive recommendation of EC for opening of accession negotiations with Albania.
The press release says: We welcome the European Commission’s recommendation for opening accession talks with Albania and its recognition that Albania continues to make progress in implementing crucial and irreversible reforms. The United States remains committed to working with our Albanian and EU partners to ensure Albania’s successful EU integration, including our full support for the ongoing implementation of the legitimate and constitutional judicial reforms.
