TIRANA, April 5 /ATA/ By A.ALLA/ – “The Ministry of Agriculture has decided to support farmers for every liter of the milk no matter how many livestock they have, with 100 lek to deliver it to the collection point and take the invoice as of January 1, 2019 onwards. The farmer who is equipped with NIPT and 3-month social insurance is included and benefits from this scheme which will really support the Albanian farmer, so the money will go to the Albanian farmer. These invoices are collected by the farmer who will later apply with the agropoints in the cities. ”
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Dhimo Kote outlined the new scheme for support of dairy farmers in a televised interview.
“This year’s scheme is focused on livestock. It has an estimated value of ALL 700 000 000 allocated according to sectors , while EUR 1 mln have gone to didactic farm of Agricultural University as a hands-on training for the young generation with a big impact on agricultural development.”
“The budget for olive tree planting with an estimated value of ALL 125 mln will replace the old olive tree groves, ALL 150 thousand will go to beekeeping. The rest will go to milk processing and registration of small livestock .”
“By April 25, they can start their applications and receive the response in 7 days. On May 10th, I think that it will finally begin to pay the invoices that will be submitted to the agropoint and at the offices of AZHBR. The delivery of milk should be accompanied by an invoice , “Kote said.
