Kukës Municipality, 4 months to give construction permit on hospital

TIRANA, April 5/ATA/ “At a time when the government invests in Kukës hospital, the municipality required 4 months to issue the construction permit”, said Prime Minister Edi Rama during a meeting with local residents of Kukës.

He said that the government has allocated funds for construction of an indispensable part of Kukës hospital.

“We have made a great transformation of Kukës hospital although it is not yet the way it should be. I have not been able to find a reason why there were needed 4 months to get the construction permit on the hospital”, said PM Rama.

He emphasized that, “At present, Kukës hospital offers many services that were not even imagined before. The young pregnant women had to go to Prizren or Tirana to make an ECG, but now they are done here”, said PM Rama.

The prime minister said that, “At last we have come out of the situation when specialists of medicine were lacking and 10 young specialists will join Kukës hospital.

PM Rama said that up to now the patronage system has been in place making the service available close to the residential areas and the people cutting expenditure./j.p/p.s./
