TIRANA, March 27/ATA/-The government of Albania discussed today on declaring illegal the activity of the stones being dug out of the ground from the quarry at Kruja Mount.
Prime Minister Edi Rama gave the news during his meeting with coordinators of the co-governance platform.
PM Rama said that, “We are in the phase of the final execution of the decision on permanent closure of a 30-year would”.
“Irrespective of the fact that I have identified that wound long ago, irrespective of the fact that in the quality of the prime minister I have constantly demanded to treat that wound through closing the quarry, 5 years and a half passed before such a thing happened”, said PM Rama.
The prime minister expressed his conviction that, “Now, it’s really the end of that massacre”.
Meanwhile, he emphasized that, “The voice of the citizens through the co-governance platform would give the final impulse to the process.”
“This is a pressure that is functional and helps us identify the responsible persons for not having a faster reaction”, said PM Rama./j.p/p.s./
