TIRANA, May 16 /ATA/ – By Gjergji Mima/ – “It is incredible that this place which today looks like a melancholic destination of ugliness will transform into a dynamic destination of beauty,” this is what PM Edi Rama stated at the launch of the project for conversion of Tirana Pyramid into a super centre of innovation and technology for youths.
PM said this project was his dream during his tenure as Tirana mayor.
“This project is like a magnetic force as it will become a reference point for the most important part of society like children and youths,” Rama said.
The project has managed to address the crux of the challenge, which was pending throughout this time, revitalizing this building and setting it to operation. You can see functioning models in other countries and export them. However, the issue is not how to transfer the project but how to create contents each passing day and tailor it to the needs of people, Rama said.
PM Rama praised the mayor for waking Tirana up and transforming it in the course of these years.
Rama added that this project is another step forward in the arduous journey between the beauty and ugliness in Tirana.
