TIRANA, May 16/ATA/- Energy Regulatory Entity (ERE) approved on Wednesday granting of license to five photovoltaic power stations for production of electricity, four of which will be built in Northern Albania.
The companies that got the license are “Seman Sunpower”, “Age Sunpower”, “Malësia Solar 1” “Malësia Solar 2” and “Malësia Solar 3”.
The stimulation of renewable energy resources assumed special attention during 2017 especially the solar and Aeolic energy.
Albania has already the necessary legal framework “On stimulation of using energy from renewable resources” according to international standards.
While the government has undertaken facilitating policies aiming at increasing investments in electricity production. e.xh/ /a.g/p.s./
