TIRANA, May 16/ATA/-Prime Minister Edi Rama accused the opposition of going into an offensive of dragging Albania’s name through the mud aiming at dashing the country’s hopes through undermining the negotiations with the EU.
During the meeting of the Socialist Party Parliamentary group, PM Rama pointed to the opposition playing a role against the country’s interests and opening of the EU accession negotiations.
“We have to face a diplomatic challenge and unfavourable winds against EU enlargement and on the other hand the opposition trying to sabotage our effort”, said PM Rama.
The prime minister compared the stance of Albanian opposition dragging the country’s name into mud with the cooperation of the political parties in Bulgaria irrespective of the domestic political conflicts./p.s./
