TIRANA, March 30 /ATA/- There is a clear distinction between entitlement to economic assistance and employment.
Via a video posted on his “Facebook” account, Prime Minister Edi Rama brings to attention the example of a citizen from Lezha which has been taken off the economic assistance scheme to be employed.
“Good morning and with the case of Shpresa who draws the distinction between economic assistance and employment herself, I wish you all well,” Rama writes.
I have received economic assistance from ’90ies through to January this year. I have lived on ALL 35 thousand per month. I was taken off the economic assistance system because I was not qualified for the scoring system. Right now I work in this hotel as a cleaning woman. My job includes cleaning the hotel and ironing clothes. I get paid ALL 250 thousand per month, including the insurance contribution. I am more satisfied with my current pay than the state benefit,” Shpresa Mekrizvani from Lezha says.
