Tirana hosts 32nd International Fair, drawing 300 companies and 5,000 business meetings

TIRANA, November 3 /ATSH/ – The 32nd edition of Tirana International Fair has opened at the Palace of Congresses, transforming the Albanian capital into a key hub for business, entrepreneurship and international economic cooperation.

This year, Tirana International Fair hosts over 300 exhibiting companies from November 3 to 6.

The opening ceremony brought together government officials, members of the diplomatic community, representatives from Chambers of Commerce and Industry and both domestic and foreign companies.

Luel Muhametaj, General Manager of Tirana International Fair, reflected on the evolution of the Klik Ekspo Group over the years. He emphasized that for more than three decades, the fair’s objective has been to facilitate connections between people and businesses. This year, he noted, the mission is advancing even further—a particularly significant development during a period of geopolitical uncertainty, when tensions between nations influence trade and investment decisions.

On his part, Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Enea Karakaçi welcomed the event and provided an overview of the progress within the country’s energy sector.

While Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Andis Salla commended the fair for the tangible opportunities it offers Albanian enterprises to access international markets.

Emil Kučković, CEO of the Sarajevo-based media and analytics firm ‘Poslovne novine’ (Bosnia and Herzegovina), also attended the opening ceremony, where he highlighted the importance of TIF32 in fostering business development beyond national borders.

The fair puts a strong emphasis on its profile-matched B2B program. Around 5,000 meetings are anticipated over four days, linking regional buyers, exhibitors, and investors to build new business ties.

Spanning an exhibition area of 8,000 m², this edition of the event hosts over 300 companies—60% of which are foreign and 40% Albanian—as well as 15 state institutions. Participants hail from more than 12 countries, including Italy, Greece, Austria, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ireland, Germany, Montenegro, Serbia, the United Kingdom and the United States, alongside various business associations and chambers of commerce. /m.m/p.s./
