TIRANA, September 10 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama announced today the launch of the new National Housing Program for Albania, “Renaissance 2.0″.
At the event organized on occasion of the presentation of this program, Rama stated that following a year of dedicated preparation, we are ready to announce the major milestones of the new National Housing Program.
The prime minister emphasized that this is more than a financial plan; it is a deep structural reform that has already been drafted into law.
In this regard, Rama emphasized that this program will soon go through public consultation and then to the Parliament to change the approach to this very important and increasingly acute topic due to the difficulties that young families and young people in general encounter on the path to get a house.
But, Rama underlined that this is not a hot topic just in Albania and it is not just a local problem, it is a major European problem.
“The more developed the European countries are, the bigger this problem is. This is one of those results of the development of these years that we must face in a different way because the development of the last decade has completely changed people’s perspective on the country”, Rama added.
Therefore, the prime minister emphasized that “Renaissance 2.0″ is a vision raised to another level in a number of aspects and housing that has its own essential aspect.
Rama said that there are 6 new programs that will be addressed all together in a comprehensive reform. /a.f/p.s./
